Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sellerpost (the "Service") collects, why, and your choices. Mohamad Eyadat, a sole proprietor registered in Israel (P.O. Box 150, Nahalal 1060000, Israel), is the controller of your personal data.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, sign-in details (passwords are handled by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text), time zone.
  • Your content: product names, descriptions, links, photos and other details you add, your brand settings, content plans and drafts.
  • Connected platforms:
    • Pinterest: your account id, the IDs of the boards you choose, the pins we publish for you, and their metrics (impressions, saves, pin clicks, outbound clicks). We fetch board names from Pinterest when needed instead of storing them. Access tokens are stored encrypted.
    • Store data (when available, e.g. Etsy): only the listing data needed to create your content, accessed with your permission through the platform's official API.
  • Billing: our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, processes payments. We receive your plan, subscription status and invoices, never your full card details.
  • Usage and technical data: key product events (for example: signed up, first pin published) recorded in our own database, error logs, IP address and device information, for security and to keep the Service working.
  • Early access list and support: the email address and the answers you give when you join the early access list, and the emails you send to support.
  • Trial checks: to prevent repeated free trials, we keep a salted hash of the Pinterest account ID and store used for a trial.
  • Terms acceptance: the version you accepted, when, your IP address and browser.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the Service: plan content, create drafts, publish the pins you choose, and show their performance.
  • To run your account and subscription, and to contact you about the Service.
  • To keep the Service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.

Lawful bases: performing our contract with you (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, fraud and abuse prevention, improving the Service), legal obligations (for example invoices), and your consent (marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time).

3. AI processing

To draft content and image descriptions, we send the relevant product details, product photos and brand settings to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them on our behalf. We never send Pinterest data to the AI provider, and we do not use your data to train or fine-tune any AI model.

4. Who we share data with

Only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of the data: hosting (Vercel), database, authentication and storage (Supabase), background jobs (Inngest), email (Resend), AI (Anthropic), payments (Lemon Squeezy), error tracking (Sentry), our domain's name service and the forwarding of support email (Cloudflare), and the inbox that receives support email (Google). The full list, with locations, is at sellerpost.app/subprocessors. We also share data with platforms you connect, when you ask us to publish to them. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. When you close your account, we revoke connected platform access immediately and delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example, invoices, which stay with our merchant of record). Data from connected stores is kept only as long as needed to provide the Service. Backups are kept for up to 30 days and error logs for up to 30 days; deleted data disappears from them when they expire.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Disconnect Pinterest or your store at any time from settings.
  • Access, correct, export or delete your data by contacting support@sellerpost.app or from settings.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights (for example under GDPR or CCPA), such as objecting to processing or complaining to a data protection authority.

7. Security

We encrypt data in transit, encrypt platform access tokens at rest, limit who can access production systems, and keep each customer's data separate from others.

8. International transfers

We are based in Israel, and our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Israel is recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate protection for personal data. For transfers to our providers, we rely on the safeguards in their data processing agreements, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.

9. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies only, to keep you signed in and secure. We don't use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask visitors from the EU and UK for consent first.

11. Changes

We will post updates here and notify you by email about material changes.
